Travel through a punishing underwater world and discover what lies in the depths of Europa. With its irradiated icy surface, life can only be found in the ocean below. In the not too distant future, humanity has fled to Jupiter’s moon. It’s a Sci-Fi game that combines ragdoll physics and alien sea monsters with teamwork and existential fear. "Work together to explore and survive, and/or sabotage one another and let the ship go down in fire and flood."īarotrauma is a 2D co-op survival horror submarine simulator, inspired by games like FTL: Faster Than Light, Rimworld, Dwarf Fortress and Space Station 13. The best of both worlds is nitroglycerin which is a one-bottle show.Get instant access and start playing get involved with this game as it develops. ![]() In a crate or not doesn't seem to matter. The most economical structural damage can be achieved by throwing a grenade at a piece of IC4. In general the most economical anti personnel damage can be achieved by throwing a good old fashioned grenade. ![]() Loading more than one explosive into a crate and then detonating it definitely does not increase the blast radius and probably does not increase the damage. Nitroglycerin and grenades seem to work just as well when lobbed underwater as they do when lobbed in open air. Nitroglycerin has the same volatility of IC4 except that it also explodes when thrown like a grenade.Ĭontrary to popular belief, nitroglycerin does not seem to explode by simply dropping it on the ground. It does seem to sometimes happen to tanks on the ground. Curiously, this doesn't seem to happen to tanks that are in lockers but not loaded into a tool. Will cause a big explosion when exposed to flames, grenades, or any other explosion, (but not small arms fire) if exposed on the ground, or even while inside a crate.Įxplosions can cause IC4 in the tips of nearby torpedoes or depth charges to explode, but not IC4 in lockers.Įxplosions and flames can cause oxygen tanks and welding tanks in welding tools or plasma cutters to explode, even when the tools are in lockers. Can't really find a way to get these to blow up except by launching them in a torpedo or depth charge. The only advantage seemingly is detonating on impact rather than on a fuse.ĮMP grenades destroy (meaning full repair needed) any nearby electronics (nav terminals, junction boxes, etc.) They don't just temporarily frazzle them as I had assumed.Ĭ4 and UEX are extremely stable. Smaller blast radius, less damage, not much difference in range. The grenade launcher seems far less effective than plain ol' grenades. Grenades have very good anti-personnel damage but very low structural damage. The general effective range of most explosives seems to be something like 3 or 4 body lengths radius. Here are some very unscientific notes I took a few weeks back while doing experiments on various explosives.
